I went to Innsmouth on the recommendation of the J-man. I wandered around a bit on my own, talked to a noob in the opera house, and took a picture with Cthulhu before Lucian joined me.

I just had the best idea ever. I’ll need to learn how to use some photo editing software.

What’s that coming over the hill? *sings*

Luc dressed to fit the era. Isn’t he awesome? You bet your sweet ass he is.

As usual, I stood out like a sore thumb with my plaid pants, god warrior tank, and butt wiggling on Dagon’s lap.

Let me tell you a story

Once upon a time, my blog was interesting. I went on adventures with my trigger finger on the snapshot button, sometimes alone and sometimes with a friend, and I wrote about them. I did the photo dumps, but the pictures were separated by fun commentary. I need to start blogging on the fly like I used to rather than letting the snapshots pile up in my email. Hm…blueberry fueled ideas formulating.

Mini update time.

Lucian and I have been together for over a month now. My, how time flies. I smile now more than I have in years. He embraces my silly, geeky, creepy, insane self as I do his.

The douchebag who set up his home on the Linden owned half sim adjacent to my parcel paid me a visit. I said hello and he just stood there. His lack of manners prompted me to set up an access list. Nobody likes banlines, I know, but it was time. A few days before my buddy Longo showed up on my lawn, I found some German dude on the roof of my skybox. What the hell is anyone doing flying around at 3,997m? That said, I have no idea if the access list is even effective at that altitude.

I’ve been tempted to cover Longo’s crap with pudge, but I’d rather not deal with any resulting drama. Instead, I chose to decorate my lawn in a most obnoxious fashion. Sorry, other neighbors. It’s better than that beastiality barn that used to be in San Denis, right?

blast from the past

Sometimes when there isn’t much to do in terms of live music, or if we’re just tired of it, Phoenix and I will hang out on the roof of a building on Langston and Ambrosia’s rental sim. Eventually we end up in the unused club below, Destination Mainstream, Lang and Amb will show up, and out comes the greedy table. Someone will take the stream, other friends are invited, and we all go on voice and just laugh it up. Pictured above: Ambrosia on Langston’s lap, Madisyn on Shock’s lap, Phoenix, and me doing the butt wiggle.

Caged reopened recently. Reactions amongst friends have been mixed, ranging from beyond angry to apathetic to warm and fuzzy. My own was right around apathetic, and I was reluctant to even visit. But since I had been hanging out with other people from the past, I had a look anyway. The first time I went was one night after hours and the only other people there were Bootzy and some lady friend of his. My second visit was prompted by a TP request from Velvet. Pictured above: Velvet, myself (and Quackers), Dergo, and Ray. I particularly like this Portia sammich picture because it looks like Ray’s giving old Dergo a fist in the ass.

One of the first things I did when I went there was look at the ban list. Ban lists amuse me because not only do they display current drama, but they reveal lasting grudges. I noticed a few names that didn’t surprise me, and several belonging to one person who I haven’t seen around in ages. Maybe she’s just gotten better at the game of alts. Anyway, I doubt I’ll be spending much time there. It’s nice being around these people once in a while, but I have no intention of being around enough to be involved in the inevitable drama that permeates this place. I did think it was cool that BWS put out the old building though.

Raspbury’s listening space

I went to one of Raspbury’s impromptu shows at his parcel for the first time a few days ago. It’s a small parcel littered with delightfully random seating, games, and a stage in one corner. He took his place on the stage and encouraged people to take advantage of the stripper pole, lap dance chair, and whatever else while he did his thing. For a while I sat on one of the mushrooms up front, but retreated to the tree when I discovered it had an embedded pose. I wish more trees had embedded sits.

The last time I hung out with Lucian, he took me for a ride on his motorcycle across several snowy mainland regions.

The last photo I snapped when he wasn’t looking…heh. This was the night I picked up my things at Reverie.

I suppose this one isn’t really a last, unless you count the fact that it’s the last picture on this post. It’s also my last/latest/current profile picture.
